H2O: A Journey of Faith

H20 is about water. Our world couldn’t exist without it. Jesus knew how important water was. Maybe that’s why he called Himself the Living Water. Jesus was making a claim and an offer too good to ignore. If you’re thirsty, you owe it to yourself to consider what he said … and who he is.

What To Expect            

We are glad that you are considering taking part in H20. We don't think you'll regret it. Ever.

The idea of these sessions is to explore Jesus, who He was and is, what He said, and what that means for you. There will be no heavy- handed preaching or manipulation. As a matter of fact, each group will abide by these principles:

Ground Rules

·    Everyone is free to express his or her views, whether he or she is in agreement with the DVD message or not.

·    No one is allowed to criticize or attack someone else's view, although you may express your own when it disagrees with someone else's.

·    No one has to talk at all. You can simply sit and listen, if you prefer.

·    Conversely, no one is allowed to talk all the time.

·    We will start the dinner at __ 6:30pm or 7:00pm and end each session by 9:00pm.


Each gathering will include a meal, a half-hour DVD presentation and an open discussion. So, what's there to lose? Not much but some time out of your week. What is there to gain? At the least, a deeper understanding of what others believe and why. At the most, if what Jesus says is true, a way to quench the deepest thirsts of your life.

Format?

10 teaching sessions using DVD (hosted by Kyle Idleman) with movie clips/drama followed by open discussion.
